Carolyne Ndila

KEMRI-Wellcome Research Programme, Kilifi and Nairobi, Kenya

Carolyne Ndila is a MSc student at the MRC Centre for Genomics and Global Health at the University of Oxford. She is also the MalariaGEN Data Fellow in Genetic Data Analysis, based at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Programme in Kilifi on the Kenyan coast. Her role involves database management and analysis for a number of genetic studies that are currently being conducted at the Programme. Carolyne's background is in data management and statistics, holding a BSC in Computer Science from University of Hartford, USA and an MSc in Project Planning and Management at Maseno University, Kenya. Carolyne has more than 5 years experience working in data management in different local and international health organisations. Her most recent position was the section head of data management for HIV Research at the Centre for Disease and Control (CDC) field site in Kisumu, Kenya.
