Christina Hubbart

Christina Hubbart joined the MalariaGEN Programme in August 2008 as Genotyping Manager. Her role is to assist in performing multiplex genotyping assays on DNA samples after their arrival in Oxford. Christina completed her BSc (Hons) degree in Molecular Genetics in Biotechnology at Sussex University and also holds an MSc in Medical Molecular Biology from the University of Westminster. Previous to joining the MalariaGEN Programme in Oxford she spent five years working as a research assistant at University College London (department of Cardiovascular Genetics) where she assisted in various genotyping, sequencing and mutation screening projects.
