Edith Bougouma is a research scientist at the Centre National de Recherche et de Formation sur le Paludisme (CNRFP) in Ouagoadougou - one of the main research institutions working in the topic of malaria in Burkina Faso.
Currently, her main role at the centre is to set up a research unit focusing on human genetics applied to malaria. She is also involved in managing research products (drugs or vaccines) during malaria clinical trials. Edith is a PhD student in human genetics at the University of "Sapienza" in Roma.
