Lucas Amenga Etego is a MalariaGEN Data Fellow and a PhD student at the MRC Centre for Genomics and Global Health at the University of Oxford. He has been working on a collaborative study (between Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and Navrongo Health Research Centre) of severe malaria in the Kassena-Nankana District in northern Ghana. His interests are in understanding genetic factors that place a person at risk of developing severe malaria.

With the teams at the Navrongo Health Research Centre and Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research Lucas is contributing to Consortial Project 1 and Consortial Project 3. More >>
