Olukemi Amodu is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Child Health at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. Within this role one of her goals is to create a centre of technological innovation and excellence in the development and application of molecular genetics and immunology in malaria research. Her main research focus is on the host and parasite genetic variability in severe malaria pathogenesis. Her group is made up of clinicians and basic scientists who consistently work in the field and have established a network for patient recruitment.
