About the MalariaGEN community

Over 30 research teams across the world are contributing to MalariaGEN's Consortial Projects. Each team is led by a MalariaGEN investigator, and many teams also have a MalariaGEN data fellow. The MalariaGEN Resource Centre provides support and coordination for the activities of the network.

Investigators

MalariaGEN investigators lead research teams that contribute to one or more of MalariaGEN's Consortial Projects. Some of these teams are doing clinical, epidemiological or immunological studies in malaria endemic areas, while others provide technical expertise and infrastructure for high-throughput analysis of genome variation. Data Fellows

To strengthen capacity for genetic data analysis across the network, MalariaGEN provides training and support for data fellows at partner institutions in malaria endemic countries. Most data fellows work within the team of a MalariaGEN investigator and have responsibilities for managing the team's data. More >>

Resource Centre

The MalariaGEN Resource Centre provides scientific and operational support for the research and training activities of the network. This includes responsibility for the secure management of samples and data contributed to Consortial Projects. More >>
