Rolf Horstmann is Head of the Department of Molecular Medicine at Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine. Rolf's group has a 10 year record in genetic epidemiology. Along with colleagues at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, the group is in the process of implementing a large-scale study in the Agogo region of Ghana, on the genetic differences associated with the level of malaria parasites found in the blood.
Rolf Horstmann and his team have recruited family trios for Consortial Project 1 through a collaboration with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. More >>
