Theonest Mutabingwas is an International Associate Member of the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute (SBRI) and a Project Leader of the Mother Offspring Malaria Studies (MOMS) project.

He is seconded from the National Institute for Medical Research, Tanzania to lead the clinical research programme at Muheza District Hospital on malaria control and treatment, and particularly the management of malaria in children under 5 and during pregnancy.
