
Tom Oluoch
Tom Oluoch is the Senior Data Fellow for East and Southern Africa. He holds an MSc degree in Computer Science. He currently works as the Chief of Strategic Information at the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Nairobi, Kenya. He has over 15 years experience in design and management of large and complex databases. For over 10 years he has worked with scientists in Malaria research and HIV/TB programs.
Tom has been involved in various consultancies for WHO and MIM. He has helped more than 10 Malaria research sites across Africa set up their database system to store study data and also design and implement computing infrastructure that includes Internet access for public health research.
