
Vysaul Nyirongo

Vysaul Nyirongo previously the MalariaGEN Data Fellow for Malawi. He as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Malawi-Liverpool Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Programme. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Leeds, MScs in Biostatistics and Applied Statistics from the University of Hasselt. Vysaul's current interests are Genomic Epidemiology and Statistical Bioinformatics.
Vysaul is coordinating data management for MalariaGEN in Blantyre and leading detailed analysis of the candidate genes on severe malaria in Malawi. The detailed analysis includes looking at clinical sub-phenotypes, multivariate and haplotype analysis.
Vysaul and his colleagues at the Malawi-Liverpool Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Programme and Blantyre Malaria Project are contributing to Consortial Project 1 and Consortial Project 3. More >>
