Third Annual Genomic Epidemiology of Malaria Conference
Date:
31st March 2010
The third annual conference on Genomic Epidemiology of Malaria is being held at the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre in Hinxton, UK from June 9th-12th 2010. This meeting brings together malaria scientists and clinicians working at the interface of genome science and technology, clinical epidemiology, and statistical epidemiology and genetics, with an interest in understanding the clinical and biological consequences of genome variation in malaria-exposed populations.
Many topics will be discussed during the conference, including; genomic epidemiology of the host, vector and parasite, highlighting the practical relevance of this research to global health, including anti-malarial drug resistance, insecticide resistance, vaccine design, and mechanisms of protective immunity.
The deadline for registering to attend this conference is Friday 14th May 2010. If you wish to submit an abstract to be considered for a poster presentation, the deadline is Friday 30th April 2010
