Rachel Craik

Rachel was a Research Assistant for MalariaGEN based in the laboratory in the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics in Oxford between 2009 and 2011. She was responsible for archiving the samples upon arrival and preparing them for use.  Rachel was also heavily involved in processing the samples for genotyping. 

Rachel studied Biology at the University of York.  After graduating she worked in industry for a year as a senior laboratory technician before joining the group in Oxford.
