Genomic Epidemiology of Africa

This computational course trained researchers and clinicians working in Africa on important aspects of human populations genetics and genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Participants from several countries including Cameroon, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania and South Africa, came together to learn about the latest laboratory techniques and data analysis tools for genomic research, which they can now apply in their own research.

Event  21 - 26 June 2015, 9:00 - 17:00 Africa Centre for Health and Population Studies, University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa
