Prof M Donnelly: Insecticide resistance threatens malaria control in Africa

Prof Martin Donnelly spoke to BBC Radio 4 Today Programme on the latest published findings of the Anopheles gambiae 1000 genomes project.

The largest ever genetic study of the malaria vector has concluded that the ability of mosquitos to resist insecticides is evolving rapidly and is spreading across Africa. Professor Martin Donnelly(link is external) of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine discusses the latest findings of the Ag1000g project.
